There is an increasing number of influencers out there today that spend a lot of money to attract attention, status and followers. Spending money to look rich is one of the easiest ways to go broke and be miserable.

The difference between wealthy and rich lies in the lifestyle habits — most wealth is not visible — majority of the millionaires live a modest lifestyle and do not buy into lifestyle creep. Preventing the urge to spend lavishly can be an easy way to secure financial freedom in the long term. People who underspend their income and invest it to make more money while they sleep can lead a very peaceful life without financial stress and living each moment to the fullest.

People who look rich on the outside are not necessarily doing well financially on the inside. This is why when the tide goes out, you see who is not wearing a swimming suit. It is important to consider whether or not entertaining someone is the right thing to do in any given situation. While it may be tempting to want to please others and make them happy, it is not always the best course of action.

One reason why we should not entertain anyone is that it can lead to the neglect of our own needs and desires. If we are constantly trying to please others, we may not be able to take care of ourselves and may even become burnt out or resentful. It is important to prioritize our own well-being and make sure that we are taking care of ourselves first and foremost.

Additionally, entertaining others can also perpetuate unhealthy power dynamics. If we are constantly trying to please someone, we may be putting ourselves in a subservient position, which can lead to a lack of respect and boundaries being crossed. It is important to establish and maintain healthy boundaries in all of our relationships.

Furthermore, entertaining others may also lead to the objectification of ourselves. If we are constantly trying to make others happy, we may be seen as a means to an end rather than as a person with our own thoughts, feelings, and needs. This can be especially harmful in relationships where one person has a lot of power over the other.

In short, while it may be nice to make others happy, it is important to consider whether or not entertaining someone is the right thing to do. Prioritizing our own well-being, maintaining healthy boundaries, and avoiding objectification are all important considerations.
